Description (Service)	Advocacy group on seniors' issues Volunteer opportunities Volunteer-run committees meet to discuss the following seniors issues: Age-Friendly Ottawa: group working with the City of Ottawa, community partners, and seniors to maximize healthy and active aging transportation health housing income security francophone issues social inclusion Education services: eight sessions offered in English and eight sessions offered in French yearly, often with a focus on how seniors can age better income security course for individuals retiring on a low income 55 Alive Refresher Driving Course: in-class learning for people 55 years and older in-class driving lessons for older seniors housing options course Understanding Transport As We Age: exploration of local transportation options
