Description and Services
Description (Service) Program offers screening and /or assessment for psychotic disorders by a multidisciplinary team
  • Education, support and outpatient care are also offered for both patient and family for an up-to-three-year period depending on the individual, and on the needs of the family
Care includes:
  • family-focused case management
  • medical interventions
  • group and family therapy
  • inpatient care is available as indicated
  • psychological or social work assessments are also available as indicated
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Eligibility Individuals 16-35 years old experiencing symptoms of psychosis or possible early symptoms of a psychotic illness that are not explained by drug abuse or other mental health problems, and who have not had anti-psychotic treatment for more than a period of six months
Languages English, French
Application Referrals are accepted from
  • community and hospital physicians
  • allied health professionals
  • the general public
  • patients can also refer themselves
