Description (Service)

Employment support services for French-speaking newcomers to Canada. Provides communication tools to facilitate job search


Orientation and support:

  • support for professional orientation
  • technical and cultural advice on adapting to the job market
  • support with CV adaptation
  • support in writing cover letters
  • job interview preparation
  • continuous support until employment is found
  • individual consultations

Workshops

  • in addition to individual consultations
  • conversation groups to practice official languages
  • supplementary advice in the event of adjustment difficulties in employment

This program is offered under the ESCOC's Settlement Program.

Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5 pm
Eligibility Francophone newcomers, including immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers. Those not eligible for the IRCC-funded program, such as temporary workers, international students and Canadian citizens, will be served through provincial funding from the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
