Maintains a centralized waiting list of individuals applying for subsidized housing

Hours Mon, Wed-Fri 8:30-4:30 pm, Tue 1 pm-4:30 pm
Eligibility
  • at least one person in the household is 16 years of age or older
  • each member of the household must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, refugee or refugee claimant
  • no member of the household is currently under a deportation, departure or exclusion order to leave Canada
  • no member of the household owes money to any social housing provider
  • no member of the household has been convicted of an offence in relation to rent-geared-to-income assistance or found by a court of law or the Landlord and Tenant Board to have misrepresented their income for the purpose of obtaining housing assistance
  • houseowners must agree to sell their house within 180 days of being housed
  • must be able to live independently and make own arrangements for support services
  • income and assets must be within the allowable limits
