Description (Service) Provides information about mental illness and addiction problems
  • books and videos may be borrowed for a two-week period or viewed within the library
  • notices of relevant, current and upcoming events are posted on the Library's bulletin board
Offers material and information on:
  • specific mental illnesses
  • mental health legislation
  • community and family support
  • upcoming workshops and meetings
Information is available in many different formats such as:
  • books
  • video cassettes
  • brochures
  • pamphlets
  • newsletters
  • journals
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-4:30 pm, 6 pm-9 pm, Sat-Sun 10 am-2 pm, limited hours of operation during Holidays as well as between Christmas and New Year's
Eligibility
  • individuals who want information about mental disorders or addictions
  • primary clients are those living with a mental illness or an addiction, as well as their families and friends
  • health professionals, students, community agencies, schools and the general public are also welcome to use the Library
