Description and Services
Description (Service) Utilizes a bio-psychosocial approach to assessment and treatment
  • inpatient bed unit
Outpatient service: young adult service targeting those within the first five years of a diagnosed psychotic illness

Provides:
  • consultation
  • assessment
  • treatment
  • rehabilitation
  • community reintegration support
Transitional Day Hospital: Intensive, individualized and goal-oriented program including:
  • education
  • social and recreational groups post-discharge

Ongoing support through the Royal Assertive Community Treatment Team

Case Management Services
(in partnership with Mental Health Community Support Services)

Education and Research Unit studying initiatives in the areas of psycho-pharmacology, psychosocial influences, neurocognition and family history

Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm
Eligibility Adults 16 years and older who are living with schizophrenia
Languages English, French
Application A physician referral is required * referral to the Royal Assertive Community Treatment Team is through the Central Intake Officer at 613-722-6521 ext 7325
