Hours Mon-Sun 24 hours
Eligibility
    Transitional Family Housing Program (Shelter):
  • homeless families, vulnerable singles and couples with a primary focus on families (all ages)

  • Monthly Housing:
  • adults 18 years of age or older

  • Second Stage Housing:
  • youth 16 to 21 years old (assessment, interview and references)

Application
    Family Shelter:
  • contact City of Ottawa by phone to request an application for social assistance and referral to a shelter (3-1-1)
  • during regular business hours, ongoing Ontario Works clients may contact their Case Coordinator directly for a referral

  • to get on the waiting list for the Social Housing Registry, call 613-526-2088
  • applications for the Monthly Housing (interview and references required) and Second Stage Youth Housing Program all have applications available on line or in person
