For more information about these virtual platforms contact your local CMHA branch using the drop down list Offices at 311 McArthur Avenue will remain closed to all visitors until further notice Support for persons with dual diagnosis in the mental health and developmental service sectors * provides advocacy for individuals by linking them to appropriate community services and supports * increases access to appropriate services and supports * facilitates training to developmental and mental health services professionals to increase awareness of specific needs of clients and their families * facilitates short and long-term planning to clients and their support networks * monitors and assesses service system gaps and reports findings to relevant ministries * provides short-term direct outreach and/or case management support The Dual Diagnosis program also supports individuals with life skills counselling (weekly meeting, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)/Skills System, Concurrent Disorder groups), housing issues, legal issues, employment, mental health issues, and developmental services The Dual Diagnosis Justice Case Management program specifically serves individuals who have a dual diagnosis and legal issues (court matters, contact with police, incarceration) For More information, visit here |

Eligibility | Persons 18 years and older with a dual diagnosis and complex needs (developmental disability and mental health diagnosis) |

Application | Individuals eligible for the Developmental Services Ontario Eastern Region (DSOER) must be referred by the DSOER * individuals who are not eligible can call the CMHA to obtain a referral form |
