COVID-19 (28 September 2020) many services are currently offered by phone or the following virtual ways:
Offices at 311 McArthur Avenue will remain closed to all visitors until further notice Group debriefing for persons who have been affected by the loss of a person who has died by suicide * a group process for individuals who are not family members who may not be served by existing programs * It may be a co-worker, clients, a community member, a neighbor, etc. A support session is a structured, one- to two-hour group session * offers a safe, confidential setting where the emphasis is on sharing thoughts, feelings and experiences * Group members learn about stress reactions and community resources and are reassured that their response to the event is natural Supported by the Ottawa Suicide Prevention Coalition |
