Description (Service) Services to people who have suffered sexual assault, sexual exploitation, dating violence or intimate partner violence within the past six months

Program based on privacy, confidentiality and consent based in a hospital setting
  • medical examination
  • collection of forensic evidence
  • initial and serial documentation of injuries, photography and body mapping
  • crisis intervention
  • sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing
  • pregnancy testing
  • HIV post exposure prophylaxis (PEP)
  • preventative vaccinations and prescriptions
  • short-term follow-up
  • community based or professional referrals for ongoing and/or collaborative care
Hours Acute Service Mon-Sun 24 hours
Eligibility Individuals 16 years and older, who have recently experienced sexual assault, sexual exploitation, dating violence or intimate partner violence
Languages American Sign Language, English, French, Quebec Sign Language (QSL)
