Assists women and young women who have been or who may come in conflict with the law

Confidential programs and services include:
  • Individual and group counselling
  • anger program
  • theft prevention program
  • court support and accompaniment
  • community reintegration program
  • house retention and support
  • youth services
  • family support program
  • Safe Bridge Stabilization program (pre-treatment programming for substance users)
J.F. Norwood House:
  • transitional housing service that provides a supportive living environment
  • helps facilitate successful reintegration into the community by offering a safe and encouraging environment where women can focus on education, employment and access to other community supports
  • three of the beds are dedicated to serve clients from the Ottawa Hospital who are referred by the Mobile Crisis Team
