Support Services for Male Survivors of Sexual Abuse (SSMSSA)

Offers support services and short-term counselling to help survivors deal with the impact of abuse and to develop improved coping strategies

Hours Administration Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm
Crisis line (phone or text) Mon-Sun 24 hours (run by Kingston Sexual Assault Centre)
Eligibility Survivors of sexual violence and/or gender-based violence 16 years and older
SSMSSA - individuals 16 years and older who identify as male or non-binary, and have experienced historical sexual abuse or who are a victim of recent sexual assault
  • must be an Ontario resident
  • families of the survivor may also be eligible for service
