Industrial Accident Victims' Group of Ontario (IAVGO)

A legal aid clinic that provides free information, advice and representation to injured workers.

Injured Workers' Consultants

Legal clinic strives to involve injured workers in the struggle for justice and in all aspects of the clinic's work: casework, public education, law reform and organizing.


Connects low to middle income individuals with legal professionals – lawyers, mediators and paralegals- who have agreed to work at a reduced rate. In order to use JusticeNet, individuals must make a net family income that is no higher than $59,000 per year.

Law Society Referral Service

Provides the name of a lawyer or paralegal who best fits a person’s stated needs. The service is not designed to provide legal advice or second opinions.

Office of the Workers Advisor

Provides free services to non-unionized injured workers and their survivors in workplace insurance matters (formerly called workers' compensation).

Ottawa Legal Information Centre

Offers legal information services, such as general explanations regarding the law and other legal topics, and is not authorized to provide legal advice or legal assistance.

Reach Canada

Educates and informs persons with disabilities, family members, lawyers and the general public about the rights and interests of persons with disabilities and ensures that quality legal and social representation is provided. Provides lawyer referral services for people with disabilities through a network of lawyers who volunteer.

Provides free information, legal advice and representation to low income  workers who face health and safety problems at work

College of Optometrists of Ontario

The College of Optometrists of Ontario is the Licensing, Certification and Regulatory board of the Optometry and Eye Care profession in Ontario, including handling complaints.  "Find an Optometrist" section available on the website.

Ministry of Labour - Employment Standards Office

Enforces the Employment Standards Act, provides information and education, investigates possible violations, and resolves complaints.

Toronto Worker's Health & Safety Clinic

Provides free information, legal advice and representation to low income  workers who face health and safety problems at work

Workers' Action Centre

Provides information and advice to people in low-wage and unstable employment.
