Description (Service) Access to support services for abused women 
 
* crisis intervention 
* information and referral 
* support services (by telephone or in person) 
* help with emergency transportation or transportation to facilitate links with other community services 
* support groups 
* babysitting subsidies 
* individual counselling 
* community education for children 
 
Children Who Witness Violence program: support group for children and a concurrent group for their mothers 
 
Transitional Housing Support program: help to transition from an abusive relationship to safe housing and services
Hours Help Line Mon-Sun 24 hours * Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Sep-May * Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4 pm, Jun-Aug
Areas Served Ottawa (City of) - and area
Eligibility Offers support to all women who have been abused physically, verbally and/or psychologically 
 
Transitional Housing Support program: available for women not accessing a shelter who are residing in the East and South end of the City of Ottawa
