City of Ottawa – Dept. of Housing & Social Services

Provides emergency shelter in a supportive environment to homeless families or individuals and assistance in obtaining appropriate long term affordable housing. Interpretation available.

Cornerstone Housing for Women

Emergency shelter for 58 homeless women or women at risk of homelessness. Counselling support and crisis intervention.

Shepherds of Good Hope

Emergency shelter for 105 homeless persons at risk of homelessness. Health care professionals advocate for homeless men and women.

The Ottawa Mission

Emergency shelter and meals for homeless men or men at risk of homelessness.  Health supervision and counselling services offered for drug and alcohol abuse. Emergency and preventative dental care. 14-bed hospice palliative care to homeless men and women. 

The Salvation Army

Assists with finding housing for homeless families or individuals. Follow up support is available for up to 1 year.
